Kizad and Khalifa Port at MOFA Ambassadors Event

In July 2012, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs invited ADPC to participate in its annual Ambassadors gathering and present the latest updates on Kizad and Khalifa Port. The ADPC delegation was headed by Dr. sultan Al Jaber, Chairman of ADPC and included Mr. Khaled Salmeen, EVP Kizad, who presented the latest updates on the project including the latest SMA agreement signings and the most recent markets visitors, and Capt. Mohamed Al Shamisi, EVP Ports Unit, who presented the latest update on the Khalifa Port project. Both Mr. Salmeen and Capt. Shamisi explained the importance of Kizad and Khalifa Port to the UAE's infrastructure and how the project integrates in the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030, to the 120 UAE Ambassadors in attendance.
The spokespoeple then answered questions from their Excellencies and explained how the Ambassadors play a vital role in promoting the project in their respective markets paving the way for ADPC to enter these markets and meet with interested businesses looking to expand beyond their borders. The event was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building in Abu Dhabi.
