Hygiene Tech: Strategic Growth With KEZAD

Hygiene Tech

Abu Dhabi-based Hygiene Tech, specialised in the hygiene and cleaning industry, is the UAE’s leading supplier of a wide range of commercial washroom hygiene products, janitorial equipment and heavy duty cleaning machinery. Established in 2007 as a solo entrepreneurial venture, the company has grown in the last 17 years to become the UAE’s official distributor of multiple renowned cleaning brands from manufacturers across the globe. Hygiene Tech is deeply involved in promoting sustainability and consciously partners with companies having an environmental focus in their product strategies.

A remarkable journey of nearly two decades dedicated to the development of the company, and the evolution of the hygiene and cleaning industry in the UAE, Hygiene Tech narrates how their move to KEZAD in 2016 helped them grow from a fledgling company to a reputed name in the industry, serving more than 1,000 clients across Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
REQUIREMENTS

To meet their business requirements, Hygiene Tech needed to be in a location that would help them in easily importing the best hygiene and cleaning products from distinguished manufacturers across the globe, and distribute them seamlessly all over the UAE. An ecosystem with proximity and connectivity to markets and strong logistical support would serve them well in building long-lasting relationships with both suppliers and clients, and be the crucial driver in their future expansion. A robust industrial environment would enable them to effortlessly partner with local manufacturers, embark on domestic production for certain specific product categories, and establish their brand presence locally.
SOLUTION

Hygiene Tech is one of the first few companies to rent space in KEZAD’s Logistics Park. Operating from their 1,333 square metre headquarters, comprising both their warehouse (about 1,000 sqm) and office, Hygiene Tech had the chance to grow from strength to strength with the support of KEZAD’s effective logistics network, and by focusing on building a sustainable product portfolio over the years. Being in proximity to Khalifa Port made logistics between the warehouse and port convenient and viable. An effective distribution mechanism was established by zoning deliveries from KEZAD to Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the Northern Emirates, that contributed to a significant reduction in carbon emissions. With a large portfolio – as many as 25,000 dispensers in the market – and on-the-move products, Hygiene Tech benefited by optimising deliveries with easy connectivity from KEZAD.

KEZAD ticked all the boxes for us to grow our business. Being in KEZAD granted us with a high-capacity power infrastructure, quick and smooth access to import markets and client locations, and helped us to expand our repertoire of services for our clients.
